The Syracuse Auto Expo will be moving the show to February of 2022. Kicking off the show will be 23rd Annual Charity Preview on February 9th, 2022. The Auto Expo dates are scheduled for February 10th – 13th, 2022.

SADA President and SADA Charity Preview Co-Chair Rich Burritt made the announcement. “Our team has spent the last few months planning an Auto Show we hoped would happen in September 2021. We take great pride in producing an event that has become so important to the people, businesses and charities of Syracuse and Central New York. Because of the uncertainty of events in September, we’ve decided to return to our original show dates in February of 2022.”

“Although we are disappointed that there will be no 2021 Auto Expo, we know our local dealerships and national brands are excited to be returning to the Oncenter in 2022. We’re hoping to return to the days when large crowds support the 14 charities who benefit from the Auto Expo Charity Preview. Our goal for the 2022 event is to raise over $350,000 for the necessary services that support Central New Yorkers. Our experience over the last year has taught us that these organizations are critical to many people and families in need.”
“We’re enthusiastic about the 2022 Auto Expo as we celebrate the return of events and the ability to enjoy hundreds of vehicles spread out through the Oncenter complex. We will be back strong in 2022 as we welcome back manufacturers, local dealerships with their staffs, and friends and families that are excited to see the latest designs and technology in cars, trucks and crossover vehicles.”

History:

The Syracuse Auto Expo is one of the five oldest shows in The United States, debuting in 1907. That year, the highlight of the show was the unveiling of the Franklin automobile, made at their factory on West Fayette and Geddes Street in downtown Syracuse. The only other year the show was postponed was in 1945, during World War II.
